- Bread - 3 nos
- Black pepper powder - Half teaspoon
- Garlic paste - Half teaspoon
- Salt - Half teaspoon
- Milk - 50 ml
- Egg - 2 nos
- All-purpose flour
- Bread crumbs
- Oil
Instructions:
Step 1 -Mixing
- Cut chicken into small pieces
- Take a jar of grinder
- Add chicken, black pepper powder, salt, and garlic paste.
- Just blend for 5 seconds in pulse mode.
- Add bread pieces and milk.
- Pulse for 10 seconds until everything well combines.
- You will get a well-mixed chicken paste.
Step 2 - Shaping
- Take water in a bowl
- Spread water in your hand palm.
- Take a spoonful of chicken paste in your hand palm and make a shape. Water will help to make a shape without gluing chicken mix in your hand.
- Transfer shaped chicken mix into a plate.
In one bowl, place the all-purpose flour.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
- In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with additional seasonings if desired.
- Take each shaped chicken mix.
- Coat first in flour, shaking off any excess.
- Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Finally, roll the chicken in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure a good coating. Repeat this process until all the shaped chicken mixes are coated.
- In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil to a depth of around 1 inch (2.5 cm) over medium heat.
- Carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil, avoiding overcrowding the pan.
- Fry the nuggets for approximately 3-4 minutes per side or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
- Use tongs or a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked nuggets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Don't use oil in your chicken mix. it will create a coating on the chicken nugget which will prevent breading from sticking properly.
- Maintain the correct oil temperature. If the temperature is too low the crust form slowly, allowing nuggets to absorb more oil and become greasy.
- If the heat is in high flame, the nuggets will burn on the outside before they cook through.
- If you have refrigerated nuggets, bring them to room temperature before frying.
- Never fry cold food straight from the fridge, it will cause the temperature to drop.
